Tracebud is opening in phases by region and commodity. Join the waitlist and we will email you when your use case is supported.

Free for producers. Cooperatives, exporters, and buyers pay based on network size and usage. Visit the pricing page or join the waitlist for details.

How long does setup take?

Producers can start mapping with the offline app right away. Most cooperatives upload their network and send the first request within a week.

Your data stays yours.

Traceability only works if everyone in the chain trusts where their records go. This page says plainly who owns what on Tracebud, who can see it, and how it is protected.

Who owns what.

FarmersOwn their recordA producer’s plots, papers and delivery receipts belong to the producer. They keep them in their own app, they carry them to any buyer, and no organisation can take that record away by dropping them from a list.
OrganisationsOwn their networkYour member lists, lots, seals and filings are yours. Export everything at any time — contacts as CSV, plots as GeoJSON, documents as files. Leaving Tracebud never means leaving your data behind.
TracebudOwns neitherWe are the carrier, not the owner. We do not sell data, we do not show one customer another’s records, and we do not use your chain’s data to price against you.

Consent

Data moves only with consent attached.

Every record on Tracebud carries its consent with it. When a farmer’s plot travels down the chain inside a sealed shipment, what travels is what the consent allows — and the lineage of who saw it is kept beside it.

Counterparties see records only where they cross a boundary: a sealed shipment or a filed declaration. Your internal operations — members, lots, processing, margins — are never visible upstream or downstream.

Protection

Encrypted, in transit and at restAll traffic runs over TLS, and stored data — including offline captures waiting to sync — is encrypted at rest.
Tenant isolationEvery organisation is its own tenant. Records are shared across tenants only through the explicit boundary events — a seal or a filing — never by default.
Role-based accessField agents, reviewers and administrators see what their role needs. Changes to records keep who, what and when.
GDPR-aligned, EU-hostedData is hosted in the EU and handled to GDPR standards, with deletion and export honoured on request. Independent certification (SOC 2, ISO 27001) is on our roadmap as we scale.
