Tracebud AS in one paragraph
Tracebud AS is a Norwegian software company in Oslo (org.nr 937 759 282). It builds farmer-first field data infrastructure for the agri-food chain. Producers and field agents capture plots, deliveries, and consent once in the Tracebud Field App, offline if needed. Cooperatives, exporters, importers, and brands then use the Dashboard to request missing evidence, keep lots linked to their plots, and assemble EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) due diligence packs. EUDR is live in open beta, starting with coffee and cocoa. The website is tracebud.com.

What Tracebud does: Field App and Dashboard
Field App (farmers and field agents). Map plots as points or polygons, attach evidence, and record consent with the record. Capture works offline. When a producer has no smartphone, a Field Agent can capture on their behalf; the record still names the producer. The app is available in 15 languages and is free for farmers.
Dashboard (organisations along the chain). Import suppliers, send campaigns, and use cascading requests that ask each link only for what it is missing. Review geospatial screening on real plot records, keep chain of custody through aggregation and processing, and build DDS-style packs, including filing Due Diligence Statements through the EU Information System where the product supports it.
Pricing in one line. Farmers never pay. Organisations pay an access fee per tonne when they receive a lot. There are no seat fees. Details on pricing.
What is live, and what is co-build
- Live (open beta): the EUDR path. Field App, Dashboard, plot geolocation, screening, DDS-style packs, Identity Preservation and Segregation chain of custody. CoC Mass Balance is scheduled.
- Designed for / co-build: CSDDD, Scope 3, carbon, regenerative agriculture, living income, human rights, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and organic. These reuse the same field records with partners. They are not live compliance modules. See the capture-once hub.
- Dates. In the Commission text, EUDR applies to large and medium operators from 30 December 2026 and to micro and small operators from 30 June 2027.
What Tracebud is not
- Not a certification body. Tracebud doesn't audit, certify or issue certificates, and isn't endorsed by any scheme.
- Not a satellite-only deforestation map. Screening runs on plot records captured with the producer.
- Not a public scrape of farm polygons. Farm data is shared only with consent.
- Not buyer-dashboard-first software that reaches farmers last.
- Not the Coffee Change Fund. The Fund is a programme; Tracebud is a digital partner providing evidence rails (FAQ).
